About SIA

The Great British Fish and Chip Supper is the Spinal Injuries Association’s (SIA) national community fundraising campaign and joining in will assist us in achieving our overall vision that spinal cord injury is not the end, but a new beginning.

It’s a frightening fact that every day 3 people will sustain a spinal cord injury. Spinal cord injury is life-changing. It can happen to anyone, at any time, often causing paralysis and affecting many other aspects of a person’s health. As the leading national user-led charity for spinal cord injured people, SIA understands how spinal cord injury affects individuals and families, and we are here to support them with life-long services as they rebuild their lives.

Take part in The Great British Fish and Chip Supper to help spread the word about SIA and how we can support spinal cord injured people. Make the Batter Matter!

Last year we had 129 suppers take part raising £19200 and so this has helped us provide:

500 hours of peer support per month
Support via 2307 Advice Line calls
Information to 8000 website visitors
